Recent Guatemala Training Sessions

Last month, Gary Snowden (Churchnet's Missions Mobilization Team Leader) and Verlyn Bergen (Churchnet’s Resources & Relationships Team Leader) traveled to Guatemala to lead the latest round of training sessions for pastors and other church leaders. The semi-annual sessions are part of Churchnet’s partnership with Guatemalan Baptists. About 75 pastors and leaders from 27 different churches and missions attended the sessions. Snowden and Bergen also visited the Tabitha Ministry, whose leader spoke at Churchent's annual meeting last year.

"As always, the fellowship and camaraderie shared was wonderful," Snowden wrote on his blog. "Many of these men and women have attended every conference for the past 6 years or so. It’s great as well to see new leaders emerging who are attending these conferences. ... I appreciate the prayers of those who lifted us up to the Lord as we went."

You can read more of Snowden's thoughts on his blog: http://www.radreformfan.blogspot.com/. For more information about the Guatemala partnership and how you and your church can become involved, contact Snowden at (888) 420-2426, ext. 709 or gsnowden@thechurchnet.org.
